And I find very strange that this guy has gone through a reverse webcomic evolution. A lot of webcomics start dy doing random strips and then start to develop a story. But this one started to develop a story from the beginning only to end up doing random strips.

Oglaf suffers pretty badly from not having consistent characters and satisfying little story pay offs anymore.

Like that Butt Axe comic is really fucking bad, sex is great as a joke enhancer, "look I drew a dick isn't this so wacky" is pretty shitty.

Oglaf has always been 75% gay porn.

Without double checking, there are now more strips without ivan than there are with, which was sad for me for a long time cause i liked the character. Since his "death," there have been many wonderful characters such as the compotent assasin, the quirky vampire chick, and the metaphors sagas. I think oglaf was feeling trapped with having to write a consistent story and forsook it in lieu of character generation.

Ive always enjoyed the artstyle though.
