Thread created because of trigger-happy mod on /co/ I presume?

Cute couple that's what I learned from the last thread but I don't think they even kissed once. Someone keeps interrupting them. But I suppose in the end they become a couple.

I vaguely remember the movie but I can recognize a quality ship. Too bad we will never see any new material.

You gotta appreciate the fact that there's no beating around the bush here or just implied and they're officially romantically involved. This doesn't happen often enough in cartoon. Or when it does it usually sucks because one character seems specifically designed to be a love interest.

Danish dub sounds best. I usually have better things to do than watching kids movies like this but I like cute moments. I know there's also a tv series set after the events of the second movie and a third one that was unfortunately done in cgi. I don't know too much about that one but I read that one subplot involves Rita learning how to be a mother which is cute.
The entire franchise is like a legitimate series with beginning and end.

As nice as it is to have a 3rd movie, I still think it was pointless. Even if it was 2D (and that can very often change the whole feel of everything), it would not be necessary. After the 2nd they get together, and you can infer a "mostly happily ever after" out of the ending.

Some of that is really nice. Of course from storytelling perspective it's a bit repetetive it's like jeez we get it.

Well that made me curious. Europeans are cool with sex. If that's what they were really implying or just generic cuddles. But they're (nearly?) adult. Difficult to say. They're clearly supposed to be adult in the third one from what I've seen but on storyboards they looks the same as in other movies.

I didn't, but I was completely surprised how she became one, since this was one of the more obscure movies I used to rent on VHS as a kid. I think I managed to catch it once on one of the german channels our satellite picked up (RTL or Pro Sieben).

Reminds me of the good times of my childhood.

It was a horrible time for animated movies. Probably some high up decided that because all cartoon movies are digital now people want it just because.
Storyboards look fine. Perhaps the story is also ok but I'm in no hurry to watch it. Also I think they changed her eye color.

First of all, Europeans WERE okay with sex, until The Great Censorship Bullshit. They are less lax now. Denmark used to lead in the lax approach to media.

And the reason their design did not change much is because, if you found a memorable look for a character, you risk (theoretically) losing viewer interest (and if there is merchandise, sales of that).
