ITT: Create an Exiles Team

Daughter of (variant) Ultimate Scarlet Witch and Ultimate Quicksilver

A parallel world similar to the Ultimate-verse but wasn't destroyed, the incestuous love affair between Wanda and Pietro resulted in a daughter they named after their late mother. Magda's powers manifest as a form of her mom's probability control in that good luck tends to occur for her, and bad luck for people and objects nearby, as well as a limited form of her dad's superspeed (can only run in short bursts, a dash not a marathon).

Is disgusted in her parents and her own nature, skews her towards a conservative mentality.

No, really, how. Today I was thinking of posibilities for a new Exiles series: possible characters and the different universes that they would visit. And then this thread appears.

Is this hypercrisis?

First you gather up all the teen X-Men from the past or whatever that Bendis loved.

Then you throw them all into an Exiles team.

Then you add Blink and Polaris and Omega Red.

>The Sentinel
Project Wideawake was a secret organization deep inside the United States government composed of names like Henry Peter Gyrich, Bolivar and Lawrence Trask and Valerie Cooper and overseen by Steven Lang, codename Bastion. Its purpose was to monitor the rapidly emerging mutant population to assess the danger or use they may have had for the government. Daria Lang was Bastion's niece, a prodigy whose uncle pulled strings to bring her in. As he determined more and more that mutants may pose a threat, he enacted Project Sentinel to create guardians for humanity should the mutant threat be realized. Daria was the first and only success, turned into a cyborg and the single most powerful weapon the government ever produced.

She and Project Wideawake watched as tensions began to flare between mutants, the human population and the superpowered community. Finally before it could boil over a conference was called between Charles Xavier, the hardline champion of mutant rights Magneto, Captain America, and others. Daria was left to watch over from a distance for any threats but something took control of her and in one blast Captain America was killed. Immediately every side blamed every other side. Magneto declared war on humanity, the government declared any mutants following him enemies of the state and Xavier tried to hold a neutral middle ground. Bastion himself had harbored anti-mutant sentiments and seeking more power for Wideawake used his own family to inflame things and give Wideawake more authority with the government.

Horrified, Daria managed to flee to Charles Xavier and explained everything that had happened. The X-Man Beast was able to take her away from Wideawake's control and while Xavier offered her a place with the X-Men she was treated with distrust. Only the X-Man known as Jubilee befriended her. Deciding to atone for the horrors she'd unwittingly unleashed and touched by Xavier's vision, Daria became The Sentinel, the Protector of the Dream.

Having one or two "known" characters is fine but Exiles started going downhill when it started adding characters from known realities like Spider-Man 2099 and AoA Sabretooth and Claremont characters like Kitty, Rogue and 616 Sage and Psylocke.

Exiles was at its best when it was using the creativity of an unlimited amount of new ideas to basically reinvent c-list and below characters.

>Feral
Maria Callasantos grew up in a slum in New York in the aftermath of a brutal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and the Avengers; the New York war zone practically cordoned off by the government while the long rebuilding process could get started. Maria's life was hard and full of rage against the super powered people who'd destroyed her home, against a government that had seemingly abandoned New York and against her mother who had turned to drinking and violent abuse after the war took her husband and Maria's sister.

Maria's only bright spot was her association with a small gang of young superpowered individuals, the NYX where she went by the name Thornn because of her claws and specifically her best friends Kiden "Timeout" Nixon and Tatiana "Feral" Caban. However, when hanging out with Tatiana, Maria's mother came home and in a rage (thinking she was stealing some of their food), she beat Tatiana. Blind with rage, Maria lost her mind and eviscerated her mother. When Tatiana tried to calm her down, the berserk Maria turned on her friend and killed her too. In the process, a bit of Tatiana's blood got into a cut on Maria triggering a further mutation -- based on Tatiana's mutant ability -- into a were-cat creature. Now back to her senses and having realized what she had done, Maria mourned her friend eventually adopting the Feral nickname for herself in her memory.

I would read the shit out of a book with the 616 versions of this line up

I could make backstories, but just imagine these are alternate versions of characters we barely know. (Besides Blink. It's not Exiles without Blink.)

A demon fused with Sooraya's body and soul and she was reborn as Ifrit. Sooraya killed Ink and other New X-Men before fleeing. She and the demon fight for the control of their body. When chosen for the team, Sooraya joins desperate to redeem herself.

In his world, Julian Keller is a hero. After the lose of his hands and legs, Keller was given a version of the Extremis virus which healed him as well as improving his powers. Now at thirty-three Julian is married to the woman he loves and one of the founding members of AX, the greatest superhero team.

Noriko Ashida had a normal life before one day, her powers manifested themselves. Now, she is able to run at super speed and throw bolts of lightning. Also, for some reason she was placed onto a team of more accomplished individuals and told that she would be their leader.

Known on her world as Titania, Megan has greatly matured from her days as a young student. After a battle with Magik, Megan went to the world of the Fae. While she was there, she studied magic and became queen of the fairies. Her new dust can cause the great dreams or the most horrifying nightmares. Unlike the others her place on the team was voluntary as she is fleeing from... someone.

David is a man who is regarded as one of the greatest men in the world. After the deaths of most of the Earth's senior heroes at the hands of the Martian invasion, David after fusing the Super Adaptoid, organized the young heroes and under his leadership they saved the world. After that battle, David continued to great hero before finally being made president of the USA. However, on his last day in office, he was called away to help save the multiverse alongside the other Exiles.
