There are dozens, if not hundreds of classic Marvel stories from that period, but classic DC stories are very rare
What gives?

Miller Wolverine, God Loves, Man Kills, Phoenix saga, Demon in a Bottle, Doomquest, Miller Daredevil, Simonson Thor, Byrne F4, Korvac Saga, Days of Future Past, Death of Captain Marvel, Stern Spidey... satisfied?

As much as I love the Great Darkness Saga, the visual depiction of Darkseid was a little iffy.
In all fairness, it wasn't until the GDS was elevated into the cosmic threat he is now. Early darkseid was about as laughable as early thanos, it was later works that elevated them.

None of that is Silver Age you dumb fuck. Most of that is Bronze with a few Dark Age.

>Pre-crisis DC
>lame
Is this a bait?
>>94829698
nowhere did I say Silver Age, dumb fuck. the thread is about the pre-crisis period.
>>94829028
Hold the fuck up. Are you calling the Great Darkness Saga 'lame'?
Alright pal, them's fightin' words. Put em up.

Not that guy, but who said anything about Silver Age? OP said pre-crisis and at least 3 of the 4 scenes shown in OP's pic are bronze age occurrences (that Miracle scene was silver IIRC). I'd say that bronze age is where pre-crisis lies, or otherwise you define "pre-crisis" so wide as to be meaningless in that you could even include golden age.
