The only reason rick agreed to help jerry is because he realized hes killing the people who spend time with him and actively driving them crazy. Rick realized Jerry is their rock, being outside of his genepool inherently makes Jerry more grounded to earth, and then assesed that Jerry was a shitty rock after he tried to ditch rick at the end of season 2. What should really mess with you is the fact that Beth, Jerry and others confirm that Rick hasn't been in the family's life at all and Rick hasn't been seen since Beth was a young tween, yet Rick has photo and memories of himself with a baby Morty.

I want Jerry to become woman and become empowered by his newfound femininity, much like how they're making Lars in Steven Universe a stronger character by having him tap into his feminine side.

His curiosity to have a vagina is foreshadowing to some science magic mumbo-jumbo that will genderbend him and you know he's going to love it. So much so that I believe it'll give him the confidence to get back with his wife.

This show's hamfisted character development and constant character derailment are making it so fucking unwatchable. At least season 1 and 2 had some consistent tone. Every fucking episode now has one of the main characters doing something out-of-character or fucked up and we're supposed to know WHY this character is acting like this, not HOW. Show us HOW this character became a sociopath, or an insecure loser, don't just fucking TELL us why and then try and give us a tidal wave of cheap psychology bullshit to seem smart.

This show tries to be clever and does none of the fucking work other shows do in order to in order to get to that stage. Every episode wants to be a fucking metaphor for some character growth instead of just being an interesting sci-fi story.
