It's average at best, nothing really stands out about it and the only non 2-dimensional character is best girlLeni. It's pretty hit or miss. The characters are all pretty one note, and aren't that interesting on their own, but when the show actually utilizes the concept of a big family working together and getting into zany situations it works pretty well. Unfortunately, far too many episodes have boring sitcom plots centered around Lincoln with everyone else either in the background or being antagonistic towards him, so it squanders it's potential. Also, the fanbase is extremely toxic and filled with pedophiles, but I'm sure you already recognize this.

I'd disagree with you about the characters being one-note. They each have their 'thing' but have a bit of character beyond it, though that isn't to say I wouldn't welcome more.

I agree about the Lincoln v. family episodes though - he's often right but ends up being cast as wrong; and on top of that the concept got old by the second time it was used. The scenes where Lincoln enjoys or learns to enjoy his sister's interests are the best, and the show could use more compromise and interest-sharing between the Loud Siblings.

Clyde's Dads are the "gay people exist" part of the show; It comes up right away, and it never impacts the show's plot.
The Luna episode was the "vat a tveest" of the show, ending abruptly after revealing Sam was the girl all along. Putting it at the end of the episode is why people could see it as agenda-pushing.
If the show wasn't treating it as the crux of the episode, then it's just a shitty ending with almost a dozen unresolved love letters the viewer is left wondering about.

Characters are out of tvtropes and assholes most of the times.
The only reason for it's success is the overwhelming lopsided female to male ratio in the support cast, which attracts a lot of creepy virgins, just like they did in MLP.

The only thing that TLH is good for is actually proving a certain mentality wrong.
Most cartoons use a lot of males in the cast, and no matter how many males there are in the group there are only one or two prominent females to balance it out, of which one is almost always the obligatory love interest for the main character.
Thus we observe the new golden ratio for cartoons. Keep the main character male (because girls are able to relate to them, it's harder- but possible- to do the opposite) but make he support cast predominantly female.
It did wonders to a shit show, imagine what it can do to a quality cartoon.

Here we go again. I just want to talk about a nice, decently entertaining show but once again everyone's either a terrible person, or a person with terrible taste.

It is... Very average.

I think the main reason of people watching this is the comic reminiscent coloring and the 12 different classes of waifubait (yes I'm including thicc mama and deported child) the show has, you can even see how people in this thread are into the "who's best sister?" train.
