He's definitely entertaining. And him trying to be both mother hen and surrogate father figure to hank and Dean was really endearing. His bro moments with Doc Venture are great as well. He's probably one of the most solid guys on the show. Considering the company he hangs out with, keeping child porn on his hard drive is about as far as I've seen him take his vice. Probably makes him one of the more morally mature characters on the show.

He also roleplays with people on the internet to satisfy the urges. And he cuddled Billy in his sleep when he found out he was a grown man who just looked like a boy.

Considering it's mentioned he's diddled the boys once before and has tried to lure them in his basement back when he was a villain, the fact that he's made a complete 180 and never tries to make advances on them and shows them "complete 100% legal platonic love" is impressive for a guy with his condition.

It's been a pretty consistent thing for decades now that pedophiles (and rapists) are considered the lowest of the low, to the point where even criminals will beat them up because they view it as that horrific of a crime.

I personally don't know if I view a kid getting raped is worse than getting killed. Guess if depends if you think living with trauma is worse than being dead.

But it's confirmed Hatred molested Hank and Dean when they were around 15 - 16 years old. And gave Dean alcohol that caused him to pass out during the whole thing.

Hatred is always well, hated by most people when they first watch the show, but as you watch and rewatch the show more and more, you kind of realize that Hatred was never that bad. The arc in season 4 where Brock didn't appear for six episodes was gold because it really gave an emphasis on how different life was for everyone, and then when he came back in one of the coolest episodes of the whole series(Pinstripes and Poltergeists) it was amazing. Using Brock in moderation was fun because we got to see the Venture family grow and develop as well as see Brock doing cooler shit, but I'm glad they brought him back once they went to NYC. A big theme I've sort of noticed with Venture Bros is that whenever they make a big change, either with character or setting, a few other things go back to normal. And so it made sense thematically that when they made like ten HUGE changes, they reversed the biggest change of the series and brought Brock back as the bodyguard.

No he's boring as fuck and a terrible substitute for Brock. Indifferent towards the pedophilia.

Personally, I think I might like Hatred more than Brock. Brock is the best-of-the-best and is always on top of things, while Hatred is an ex-supervillain completely unqualified to fill Brock's shoes.

The drug-treated pedophilia is just another aspect of him being a panicked mess.

I didn't like him at first and missed Brock but he grew on me and was cool seeing Brock doing his thing
