I...would actually. She reminds me of a teacher i had who i would kinda fuck if given the chance. Like if for some reason she wanted dick for a good grade i wouldn't say no.
GOAT scene in a animation that has never been topped since
I NEED A HERO

And this is right too.
I firmly believe that Shrek 2 is one of the greatest comedies of all time, period. Not just animated. It's up there with the Mel Brooks classics.
And it doesn't seem to get that kind of recognition because everyone remembers the success of the first movie and the All-Star memes more.
This, and Prince Of Egypt, are DreamWorks' masterpieces that they will never top.
>BE... GOOD...
>Shrek 5 is coming out in 2 or 3 years
They fucked up by making two mediocre at best follow ups to Shrek 2. Shrek 3 could've been something great if they had gotten the Andrew Adamson back on directing and writing.
Shrek 2 was the last good Shrek movie, thank god Myers didn't do Austin Powers 4
Unpopular opinion: Shrek 4 was VERY good as well
not at the level that is Shrek 2 (true masterpiece) but much much better than the 3

>He's singing along at the end credits
Happy as fuck.
>>94811579
That was a trip for me, since I grew up watching Jennifer Saunders' AbFab.
>>94814892
don't be gay.
>>94815119
4 was at least decent after the shitshow that was 3
>>94811579
Prince of Egypt has my favorite musicals scene in Deliver us and the Plagues, especially the Plagues. But there is indeed something magical about this scene, it's just so fucking satisfying to watch.
Shrek 2 somehow manages to be underrated despite being even better than the first.
>>94815288
I wouldn't call it very good but def better than 3.
4 was just ok for me. Wasn't really funny.
>>94815658
Personally I loved Rumpelstiltskin as a villain
>>94811579
I like to look for animation fuckups when I rewatch. Like the Kings cape gets caught on the dead dove in the scene where they meet Shrek.
Still the last good Shrek.
>>94811579
If this came out today people would complain about tumblr hair and how she's too fat and not attractive
>>94811579
>Watch Shrek 2 for the first time
>Enjoying it, but wouldn't calli it anything special
>HIT
>mfw
I really didn't think Shrek 3 was bad. I liked it just a little more than 4. Is there a specific reason why so many people have an issue with it?
>yfw watching this for the first time in the big screen
>>94814431
I agree. It's the satire of early 2000's life and Beverly hills we needed.
>>94817534
Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. It felt like a kind of...I dunno, harmless addon with some funny moments in it. I loved the princess attack.
4 fucking lost me though.

Honestly one of my favorite movie soundtracks of all time.

Before hamburger crisis, RBS of UK, a ton of Muslim problem
All movie looks good in theater.

Myer's career died with the Love Guru. Shrek and Austin Powers is all he has now, so I doubt he'd turn down the opportunity to do Austin again.
>>94816407
Not him but I remember liking him as well but don't remember much about him.

>Be me
>6 years old (19 now)
>Never saw Shrek 2
>Shrek always creeped me out when I was a kid
>Always looked liked he wanted to eat me
>Had this naive perception of things that look good are good and things that are bad are bad.
>In general I was a complete pussy who couldn't even stand a single ounce of blood
>Looked around a Walmart looking for my sister
>She's watching the televisions
>Shrek 2 is on
>Fairy Godmother bursts into bubbles upon getting hit
>Shocked me as a kid and made me hesistant to approach anything Shrek related
>Sometimes would piece head canons of what happened in the movie
>Had a weird dream where she was skinning innocents and selling it on the blackmart and justified this by saying "Everyone likes skin"
>Had another where she's having a boxing match with Shrek
>Over a decade later
>Watch Shrek 2 for the first time now that I've matured and got over it
>All the outdated 2000's reference make me feel nostalgic
>Find myself laughing despite how much I hate outdated 2000's shit
>Holding out for a Hero starts playing
10/10 film
I was missing out
>>94820579
He was sort of a flamboyant vengeful midget, or stuff like that, with an obsession with wigs, it was very enjoyable to watch he was very petty
>>94820784
>Had a weird dream where she was skinning innocents and selling it on the blackmart and justified this by saying "Everyone likes skin"
The funny thing is that this is perfectly in-character except she'd be selling sold skin for something more vanity-obssessed.
>You don't like the wrinkles in your skin ? Why, for a limited price I can give you a makeover with a skin that has no wrinkles at all !
>>94816589
But she's the villain
She's also supposed to look old
>>94820784
>>Shrek always creeped me out when I was a kid
>>Always looked liked he wanted to eat me
>>Had this naive perception of things that look good are good and things that are bad are bad.
My sister had the same thing but with Disney's Quasimodo.
So I bought this doll of him and constantly hid the ugly fucker in random places in her room.
>>94821985
that's fucking brilliant.
did you ever get in trouble?
>>94820784
Forgot one more detail to this
>Cartoon Network's about to air Shrek on tv
>Decide to man up and watch it to get over my fear of Shrek
>One of the ads promoting it is the exploding bird scene
>Get horrified out of watching it
I find that scene hilarious now
>>94815551
but it's yucky
if lord Farquard was a mockery of Eisner, who was Fairy Godmother mocking?
>>94811579
If only she was taller, she'd be able to dominate me. Her voice was pure sex
Lord Farquard did nothing wrong, just wanted to purify his kingdom and have a wife to provide him with worthy successors
