What went wrong?

They started by being true to comics (all their characters, locations from comics, references)... but then more MCU material began to appear, first with designs (Malekith, Ultron), later with even fucking backstories (Mordo, I'm sure some Guardians) and now they don't have the Fantastic Four because reasons... fuck this game!

This is why I don't want a new Marvel Ultimate Alliance, they will ruin the game with stupid MCU synergy.

Cutting a third of each characters abilities for the trait system instead of just keeping all three trees and adding the traits on top of it. The removal of the Omega system, for all of its bloated redundancies, removed what little complexity was left in the game.

The Omega System was a redundant mess but was great because it had more of the core of Marvel, lot of information about different types of characters and powers, they replaced it with a super MEH Infinity Gems/Stone system.

Yes... but I was talking about Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but yeah Marvel Avengers Alliance was also ruined by synergy.

they also removed the secondary characteristics, so my juggs was super huge compared to other juggs since I had 3 or 4 size increases but they removed that.

now I just have a wee little juggs too
