What are some instances of comics and cartoons acknowledging that any operation, no matter what kind or what size, requires some rudimentary infrastructure?
It's a damn shame that this doesn't happen that often, since answering the age old question of "Where do they get all those wonderful toys?" can enrich the narrative or even be a compelling story in itself.
