Pros, The altered opening credits, the shack going Mecha and a ridiculously satisfying punch dealt to Bill, some characters actually being a bit useful post that shity Mabel arc.

No punishment for Mabel, nor even her acknowledging she did wrong, Bill as a frat God, petty Stan vs Ford ruin the ritual for the destruction of Bill that was hyped for 2 fucking seasons, and worse, instead of actually showing the consequences of using the mind wipe device we have a happy ending meaning that the sacrifice meant nothing and thus rendering that satisfying last punch to Bill less awesome.

It's entertaining as long as you don't think too much about it.

You're not really getting it. I'm not saying it was executed perfectly, but I understand what they were going for. This is a prime example of character development > plot. What matters is the intention, not the consequence. This is not uncommon in fiction, in fact, this is the entire base for why people like some villains and video game bosses that are characters. Whether they win or not is unimportant, what's important is their character. This is what they've been going for with Stan.
