Carnage is red because it's completely bonded with his blood. Kassidy and the symbiote refer to themselves as "I" and aren't separate individuals in the way Venom and the others are.

Carnage calls himself "I" because the symbiote is completely subservient to Cletus. Its basically his slave and doesn't have much of a personality of its own. It just does whatever he tells it to. It has nothing to do with how they are bonded.

Stop spreading this ignorant nonsense and actually read some comics. Just because something was said in the animated series, doesn't mean its true in the comics, too.
