That is a good design, but with IHF it's all about the fairy-land atmos and sensibilities being turned on its head subverted, so a big stronk manly man with a child's dragonsuit is a better fit for the comic. Your design, however, would be good for a more Mike Mignola-esque fantasy comic.

I like the idea of twisting the old sugar coated fairy wonderland paradise over its head into some maniatical hyperactive hypercolored purgatory where kids run doing fetch quests forever and ever, even if it's just because they suck at it like Gert here. Gives some good ideas.

Its obviously collectathon.

The style gives me a slight Fairy oddparents feeling, specially in the general shape of characters and the colorfulness. I could see it animated that way.

A game like Risk of Rain; a daisy chain of fetch quests taking you through procedurally made, childlishly named, levels that are the kingdoms of fairyland and you kill waves of creatures while following/Trying to follow the map's instructions. (Give this thing the object from last level. Whoops you killed them. better get to this other level and climb that mountain to find another gizmo to trade) and so on.

I'm thinking it could work really well as a nier: automata style game. Somewhat open world, solid combat, relatively linear story, limited procedural generation because procedural generation can make or break a game. More of ten than not, break.

It's got arcs, but continuity won't lock you out. Most issues have self-contained adventures and you can start anywhere, but I do recommend starting with issue 1.

And it'll be as long as Skottie Young finds it profitable and fun to make.

Necropolis is also something i thought of, which was an okay game in concept, but the game was so slow as to be unplayable, and abandoned mid development. If you were to speed character input and add some variety to the class/weapons it'd work wonders.

The chances someone from /avgd/ getting onto this are as high as Gert getting home anyway. But at least it's an entertaining thing to imagine.
