That's one of Willy's faults that I don't think will ever be corrected. He speaks through all of his characters in the way that he would speak...if he had the time to write his own conversations before he had them.

I'm not being willfully obstuse, I just don't know what he would've done differently. I'd say he didn't mean for anyone to find out, but he did tell Raidah, so maybe he could've been more discreet? I dunno, we'll never know.

Anyway I'm all for treating people like people generally. But I still think a little bit of sexual objectifying can be fine as long as you don't go nuts. And interestingly, Ryan pretended not to do it, when that was his primary goal. I think Joe being upfront is probably better than completely hiding your intentions. Sexuality is really taboo in a weird way that I don't think we'll ever get past.
