Hey all, I'm looking for a specific horror comic I saw on /co/ around last halloween and can't seem to find again. It was one about a guy in a plane crash as the only survivor, and every night a monster would come and take away the bodies of the people who had died in the crash (implied but never outright said that the monster was his own hunger making him resort to cannibalism and it would kill him if it didn't get the bodies)
Anyone know what it's called or how I can find it?
Anyone?
I know which comic you're talking about OP but I don't have it and I don't remember the name, here's a bump though.

Bane couldn't have eaten people through that mask

A dog from a a wolfs perspective?
>>94683507

>>94684285

>>94684310

>>94681025
Bumping because this comic sounds interesting

Was the art more detail like it was a big name comic? Or very minimum style like it would be for maybe an indie comic or webcomic made by a single person?
>>94687948
Not OP but I remember the comic. It was definitely an indie/web comic and pretty minimal with the colors.

Well I tried googling around, but got nothing but imdb for Final Destination and some anime.
Fuck, I know this comic too, but can't remember who did it for the life of me.

Is there more or that's the last page? I live wolves
What are some other good horror comics to read, then?
>>94681186
can't help you. But the short poem you posted is fucking great! I love these kinda of poetry comics but have no clue where to find them

I like horror with really good digital art that takes things past the realizm and messes up the images.
If you like fallen angels killing the last few humans alive, Ascend is a great story. The dialog is a bit hard to follow though

I only have the first trade of this, called Transfusion and not sure how far it went after, but I found the one trade worth it anyway. All that is left living on earth is a few humans and a few starving vampire that are trying to subsist farm them. But there are these giant machine that feed off of both vampires and humans. Basically, everyone is starving to death

I think it may be called skinwalker or something, I recognise the story.

Depends on what ya looking for.
Over the top gore and/or ultraviolence?
Something that isn't too serious and is as much a comedy?
Something that goes for atmosphere and relies on narration/story over visuals?
>>94687948
Which artist is this? I used to read her webcomics all the time.
>>94689610
Emily caroll
>>94689642
Thanks

Hellboy the crooked man is pretty good. It has a creepy bad guy and corbens art is perfect for the atmosphere. You don't have to have read any other Hellboy stories to understand the story. I think out of all the mignolaverse comics crooked man is still the only one that has given me the creeps

A borzoi, also called a Russian wolfhound.
They were bred to hunt wolves.

>Something that goes for atmosphere and relies on narration/story over visuals
Yes please.
>>94691239
Best shot for that would be Emily Caroll webcomics like
>>94687948
being her most famous.
Also look at some of Alan Moore's 80s stuff like Swamp Thing or From Hell.
More visual (especially Swamp Thing at times) but still plenty of narration guiding the reader.
Man, I love horror.
