Sony has a very amateur Industry mindset, the producers think that marketing is simply doing everything by the book and trying to appeal to a made-up audiences without moderation.

I studied advertising.and i see that their main mistake is thinking that audiences are a mechanic factor like 1+1=2, they think you can just put the magic ingredients in a product, ask some random retarded kids in the streets to say what they like in films, google what is hot nowadays a then money wil suddenly come out

Even illumination isn't so stupid and childish, even more when they cry like toddlers on the internet calling the audience meanies for not seeing their shitty movies (Ghostbusters 2 for example), the studio is becoming the Tom Preston of cinema

Sadly, that's not a rare practice, lots of trailers (especially when aimed at younger audiences) get blocked outside of US/CA for fuck knows why.

Other than marketing the product in different ways to different cultures, I see no reason to block trailers on the fucking interweb.
