It's because despite so many different (and polarizing) versions and stories of Spider-Man being made for the past several decades since the manga, it literally has nothing to do with Spider-Man outside of the first couple of chapters. I think after Lizard it starts going towards the MIND TIGERS AND DRUGS shit. That and it's so depressing a premise for even a character like Spider-Man that it would alienate probably not only casual fans of Spider-Man but some dedicated ones as well. Pic related is a moment that contradicts what a lot of people interpret about Spider-Man (that he would rather let someone die instead of finding a way to save them). True it's somewhat related to his plight of being a hero who tries to do the right thing to save everyone but it would still be decried as "not muh Spider-Man"

Despite that, it would be neat if they did translate and release it just for shits and giggles. I know they did some of it back in the late '90s but I believe they cancelled it because it got so depressing and nobody bought it.

Now if they re-released SUPAIDA-MAN people would be on that in a heartbeat

When they first reprinted Spider-Man manga the cut a lot of stuff out, then didn't finish the rest. If they were to publish a translated version it'd have to be under the MAX label and I'm not sure if Disney wants to do that with Spider-Man.

Content aside, being from the 70's probably hurts it more than it helps. Older manga don't seem to jive with the readers of today, so the appeal of a modern release would be restricted to hardcore Spidey fans and comic connoisseurs.

Psychic invisible tigers powered on righteous fury that would violently murder those responsible for the suffering of a woman who had her life ruined. In the end the woman was killed and yet the tiger remained, making Spider-man realize that it wasn't actually a tiger she made but one born from himself after having seen so much suffering throughout the series. It is what he wishes he could do to the monsters that exist in society.
