I think those are excellent casting choices, but I'd rather Cooper be reserved for Green Lantern.

I agfee, much better Half choice. They may go with John because "much diversity" as well as being a simple Marine Corps origin story. Easy sqaunchy it ain't raunchy. But Cooper would play a fantastic Hal.
