That would be a great what-if, but I'll raise. What if the Avengers decided to open an Avengers Academy right at the beginning, taking in the original X-Man, Spiderman and Johnny Storm. They use Johnny to pull the F4 as teachers, Reed and Tony teach science, Ben and Steve teaches boxing and army stuff, Sue mothers the bunch of teens, Thor takes them drinking.

I think designers need to stop trying to make Robin costumes intimidating and Batman-like, it never works. Robin's colors are red, green and yellow because Robin is supposed to be a FOIL to Batman, they're not supposed to be scary.

I like that stripes kinda make his costume look like sportswear. See, Supes wore trunks because tights+trunks was what circus strongmen wore, so it implied that he was strong.
Making him look like an athlete achieves similar thing, updated for modern values.

I like the idea of ethereal or wispy horns. Like she's not physically twisted but spiritually twisted and it comes out when she's letting go of self-control.
