He couldn't pay his crew and he had to pay the bank for the place. Now he has that old lady's money backing him and a host of performers to his name. This. It was cute, and heartwarming. Not a heavy plot just a lot of fun and emotional tugs. I liked it, but not in the way I like a disney or Pixar movie, which can't really be done on illumination's budget. I would have liked to see what a better studio would have done with the project.
