Telltale's counting on you to not trust the Joker. Something's going to happen in episode 3 where you will incorrectly blame John and it will all come crashing down around you. As someone who's textured 3D characters before it's generally necessary to either manually shade BOTH the tops of the sclera and irises or NEITHER (and leave the shading to the render engine). The fuckwits who did this game allowed the modeler to make the irises anime-level concave and trusted the shader to shade both them and the sclera correctly.

Protip: the actual geometry of real irises is irrelevant because corneas refract them into looking convex, even the lighting. These renders show the irises being shaded in the wrong direction AND leave out sclera shading.

Personality wise I'd probably try to have him be a bit quieter and more polite like he is when he isn't doing crime, because I really like his personality when he's chatting with Bruce like a normal person.

I like the idea of Oz doing what Penguin in the comics tries to do: Stay 'legit' while doing crime on the down-low. Problem is that the original penguin is just so damn easy to identify, how can anyone mistake him for a honest businessman when he has clearly been seen getting caught on multiple occasions doing crimes and murders?

For him to use more subtle means and keeping his crime work and public life separate would make him not only interesting, but an easier parallel to Batman, who seems to have brains, brawn, and funds. Meanwhile, Penguin has brains. He has to figure out the rest.

Plus the two of them being intellectual rivals is fun, considering they probably played a lot of chess and board games together as kids.

But hey, that's just my two cents.

I can't get into Telltale's Batman, but I can't hate it either. The take on the Wayne's continues to leave a sour taste in my mouth, I think that Troy Baker is probably the worst Bruce i've ever heard, and none of the 'emotional' points of the storyline have really hit me that hard.

You want to know why you like the way it's presented here? Because the dynamic is different. Joker doesn't have to casually murder people and set up various ridiculously elaborate traps to be interesting. Just as Batman doesn't have to chase after him, beat him up and send him back to Arkham every time he does something bad, again, to be an interesting character.
