Man this whole thread took me back. I had digital cable so i got a 24/7 pbs kids channel to watch stuff all the time. Pic related was one of my favorites, with fetch, between the lions and book of virtues. One thing i thought was weird was that the funding credits usually made me want to buy whatever was on them, even though pbs made them out so they didnt seem like ads. Needless to say i stocked up on juicy juice, fruit loops and mcdonalds after seeing them in credits.

Then we went to a zoo (I think it was San Diego's) and saw a cage with some Ring Tailed Lemurs. I asked my mother if we could go and look for the species of Zoboo, she told me that it was just a puppet and that the Ring-tailed were the ones Zoboo was based on. I made a comic book when i wa sin middle school with kirby. He had to fight against other star warriors with different theme powers In the 1st issue he fought a kirby based on fruit and who looked like an apple. The second issue i pulled out all the stops when he fought Explosio. Th guy put bombs all over dreamland and kirby used the wheel power to run around swallowing them up and destroying them, then fought Explosio in a very DBZ like 7 page battle that took me several weeks to draw. I was so proud of it i showed it off to everyone, so much so my teacher confiscated it. He gave it back saying "this looks like you put a lot of work into it anon" and then i went and fucking lost it in a move later that year.
