Is there any chance for a good new TV show or movie starring Looney Tunes characters?
>>94623648
Best to let sleeping toons lie
Adapt Tom King's crossover into a movie
>>94623648
Can't see why they shouldn't do that, Looney Tunes are pretty much timeless and there is still interest and a broad potential audience. Even if interest for them would be dead in the States, them making a Looney Tunes movie for Kraut cinema could actually happen. They made movies for Kraut cinema before and they would easily find investors for a Looney Tunes movie.
>>94623648
yes there was

>>94624268
Yeah that one was good, and Gwilled Cheese too. The rest of it, not so much.
>>94623648
Duck Dodgers movie when?
>>94623648
If they make Daffy Dick: Wizard, I'll watch it.
>>94624065
I kinda wish that WB would do what Disney is doing by making Mickey Mouse shorts and posting them online. As a way to make the characters more relevant.
>>94625783
Just another 333 years.
>>94623648
Holy shit that's hot.
>>94623648
>turning down queen giga-hott
Is Daffy gay or just daffy?
>>94626083
In the show, he has multiple occasions to score with her and for different reasons chooses not to. The prime reason is that he's so self-centered he's unable to devote himself to anyone else.
>>94623648
>And who are you again?
Holy shit, I can smell his dumbness over here.
>>94623648
The recent DC crossover specials are way better than they have any right to be and I'd love more of them. They give Roadrunner and Wile E. the backstory of being regular Nevada desert animals experimented on with alien DNA by Acme Labs, for instance. It's honestly good shit and keeping their DC universe counterparts in play would be a wise move for the Looney Tunes brand.
>>94627765
>They give Roadrunner and Wile E. the backstory of being regular Nevada desert animals experimented on with alien DNA by Acme Labs
>>94627765
>Nevada desert animals experimented on with alien DNA by Acme Labs
In the hands of Marvel or Image this would be a catastrophe. DC though...this better be fucking good.
>>94623648
I'd pay fucking anything to have the Mars Queen be in more stuff dammit.
>ywn be in a loving stable relationship with the Queen of Mars

>They give Roadrunner and Wile E. the backstory of being regular Nevada desert animals experimented on with alien DNA by Acme Labs
That sound horrible to be honest. What next? Tom and Jerry are experimental animals to because Tom's owner can talk to them instead of them just being a fucking cartoon? Are kids or their parents so void of imagination they need some bullshit scifi science reason why this happens in cartoons?
Fuck this fucking world.
>>94629686
Next thing you know they'll make the Ninja Turtles into animals that got mutated with human DNA by experimental goop.
>>94629634
>become king of best solar system planet
>huge robutt army
>possibly get control over the flagship of the martian fleet
>roman aesthetics
>get to fuck the queen every night for the rest of your life
Being king of Mars is the best possible life I can imagine
>>94626602
That, and the martian commander fed him a line about the King of Mars overseeing the methane farms of Uranus (heh).
It's tragic really, considering that The Queen really does care for him.
What would be a good series premise to put the Looney Tunes cast in, akin to Duck Dodgers being "Daffy in space"?
I think they could probably get away with an episodic series based loosely off of "Quackbusters", considering just how many semi-mainstream monster characters they have yet seldom use (Witch Hazel, Gossamer, Count Bloodcount, Jekyll/Hyde, Dr. Lorre, the Abominable Snowman, etc.). Plus, it'd be one of the few sub-genres that could justify reusing not only Marvin, but Queen Tyr'ahnee in too if they'd only recycle a "Martian Invasion" plot like out of some crappy 50's b-movie.
>>94629686
The crossovers were fun because of how damn seriously they took themselves.
>>94629989
Daffy Duck is a treasure hunter and wherever he goes COMPLETELY COINCIDENTALLY Bugs Bunny goes on vacation and completely fucks his shit up but also saves his life.
>>94630336
Forgot pic.
>>94629686
>void of imagination
Welcome to /co/.
>>94627765
Did that come out already?
>>94630366
That would get old fast. Plus Daffy Duck as a treasure hunter would scream Ducktales ripoff.
>>94630373
That is a Tumblr image. You can't fool my eyes!
Who is the best leader : Yellow and Blue Diamond, the Martian Queen or The Almighty Tallests?
>>94633350
Lord Dominator.
>>94633350
Martian Queen > Yellow and Blue Diamond > Almighty Tallests
>>94633375
Dominator has such poor leadership skills that she can only handle disposable robots as underlings, and has zero interest in ruling anything to start with. She only desires mayhem and destruction.
>>94629989
People bring it up all the time, but doing the equivalent of Duck Dodgers as a high fantasy rather than a sci-fi show would be great. The Wizard short was such a success, I think it could be elaborated upon like the original Duck Dodgers short was.
>>94633601
>Daffy the Wizard series
>Dark Elf Queen Tyr'ahnee in all manner of skimpy Frazetta outfits

High Fantasy Looney Tunes
Granny
>Queen Mother of the realm, beloved by the people. She assembles the Party as elite force to defend the kingdom, especially her young heir.
Tweety Bird
>Adopted child of Queen Granny, crown prince of the realm. Innocent and gentle of heart, recent evidence that been discovered that indicates his life may be in danger.
Porky Pig
>Queen Granny's steward, and a childhood friend of Daffy Duck. Responsible minded, he has been assigned the task of acting as the Party's contact and supplying them with any resources they might need.
Bugs Bunny
>Leader of the Party, a skilled archer and cunning trickster. A peaceful soul at heart, he has little love for the thrill of adventuring, but his strong sense of duty keeps him motivated to carry on.
Daffy Duck
>Formally the queen's court wizard, now a member of the party. He objects strenuously to the Queen's decision to make Bugs Bunny the leader of the party instead of himself. While egotistical, his skill at commanding the powers of the arcane are undeniable.
Lola Bunny
>The party's cleric. Ditzy and airheaded, she none the less demonstrates a strong connection to the will of the divine.
Tasmanian Devil
>A savage and brutal barbarian of unknown origin. Nearly uncontrollable, it is only through the guile of Bugs Bunny that this beast's rage is able to be turned toward constructive purposes.
While E. Coyote
>Alchemist and tinkerer, with an intellect to rival that of any mage. Though he is accident prone, the artifacts he provides are indispensable to the work the Party does.
Road Runner
>The party's scout, and a man of few words. Fleet of foot, and quicker still with his pair of twin daggers.
>>94635448
Sylvester the Cat
>A scheming noble on Queen Granny's court, with designs on becoming king. It is he who orchestrated the attempt on Prince Tweety's life, which prompted Granny to form the Party. Despite his ambition, he is always cautious enough to ensure that none of his treasonous crimes can ever be traced back to him.
Yosemite Sam
>Warlord of the local orc bandits. Though small of stature, he is foul tempered even by orc standards, and his minions live in constant fear of his wrath. The bandit fortress he rules from is an ever present threat to the kingdom.
Elmer Fudd
>An assassin hired to eliminate the Party. Having lived most of his life as a hermit in the wilderness, his tracking skills are second to none, and his connection to the forces of nature is strong.
Rocky and Mugsy
>The leader of the local thieves guild and his bumbling hired muscle. While they have always stuck to petty crimes in the past, they have recently begun expanding the scope of their criminal empire.
>Marvin the Martian
An etherial being from a dimension of pure magic. Marvin seeks to erase the physical dimension in its entirety, as it obstructs the flow of magic into his own realm.
Foghorn Leghorn
>The boisterous king of a land of giants to the north. His kingdom has usually had good relations with that of Queen Granny, though his eccentric personality makes diplomatic meetings tense.
Pepe le Pew
>The wealthy owner of a local gladiatorial arena, he has a bad habit of becoming deeply infatuated with women he barely knows. The most recent target of his relentless affection is Lola Bunny, which has made him both a friend and foe to the party on many occasions.
>>94625855
Wabbit was their attempt at trying to mimic that style of shorts. Too bad it was a shitty attempt.

>>94623648
If they made a Duck Dodgers movie, who should they even get?
>>94636498
At least one good thing came of it.
>>94629686
Oh hey, it's the autistic asshole who kept coming to every WB/DC crossover storytime to bitch about the comics being bad
>>94640190
>>94629989
Duck Twacy. Basically Looney Toons cast spoofing 50s noir elements left and right. The Martian Queen can be the classic femme fatale character always thwarting Daffy. Foghorn Leghorn as a corrupt Southern billionaire industrialist. Sam as the angry police chief. Porky as the sidekick. Buggs as the snappy D.A. Pepe le Pew asa serial rapist.
>>94640509
I swear.... those looney tunes gonna became top 10 porn

>Fantasy Looney Tunes
>No Witch Hazel
>>94640552
Ellipses are three periods.
I like it when they give some of the side 'Tunes spotlight. Foghorn has never had his own TV show like Taz or Sly & Tweety did.
Turn the Daffy Duck wizard short into a show
>>94635448
>>94635471
Feels like a good setup for something movie length, I'm not sure if it would work in an episodic format. Still pretty good.
>>94623648
From the catalog, did anyone else think that sack was hyper-preg?
>>94640190

>She's going to spend the rest of the New Looney Tunes series getting molested by Pepe Le Pew.
Too bad, since I liked her as a character.
>>94641264
>Sword of pure metal
>No grip
>Weird ass pommel
Those hands better be more muscles than fuzz or it's falling out of her grip the moment someone taps it.
>>94645981
Tazmania was a pretty good show, I wonder why it's not more fondly-remembered.
>>94650882
Just because you can't see the grip doesn't mean there's no grip. She has huge hands, the grip was probably made for smaller hands.
>>94650912
It was never on when I was home. Literally it'd show right as I had to go to school
>>94650927
Given how the blade just morphs into the guard, and it continues to the pommel, I doubt it. Even with huge hands, holding that thing is going to be uncomfortable as fuck.
>>94650927
>>94650963
Maybe she's just a badass with really strong hands??
Daffy the Wizard show, with the Martian Queen as a Drow Queen.
>>94650912
Because there was no reason for Taz to be in more than one or two shorts to begin with, it's ridiculous that he ever became popular when his entire character is "Lalililipffff!" and being a tornado
>>94650993
Or an idiot that can't sword
>>94651367
Well she is an orc warrior so there's a chance she's both
>>94645981
>Sly & Tweety
>>94625855
You know, it's depressing. We've extended copyright past the natural life span of the average person, and with all that leeway Mickey Mouse and Superman feel like they're running on fumes to me. The mouse may be Disney's trademark, but as a draw to film, he himself is barely present. And DC is still doing fine, but only in theaters, and the latest movies haven't been so hot. I'm also getting tired of superhero films in general.
Disney still wants that "forever less one day" thing so they can have infinite copyright, but as it is Mickey is a shadow of what he used to be.

Silver St. Cloud's been a Batman love interest for a long time. King used her probably because Elmer Fudd says "cwoud"
