I think a sequel to RotJ would have been predisposed to the kind of dullness TFA has regardless of how the prequels were received, given that it was made thirty years after RotJ had released. Granted, they definitely calculated things so as to avoid comparison to the prequels as well, but TFA's biggest problem is being a sequel to a movie that didn't need one and struggling to justify itself.

I don't think it's fair to fault haters of the prequels for TFA. I for one dislike both, though I also dislike most of what people on /co/ love regarding Star Wars.

I agree partly, Rhen Var wasn't a favourite of mine because of the distances but the outpost one with the tombs is great because the battle can go either way.
Bespin was the biggest casualty. And the BF2 Geonosis map sucks. But in BF2 you have thinks like Mygeeto and Felucia which are great fun to play.


I also agree about the special classes, sometimes I just want to be a regular clone or droid. TCW suffered this problem where suddenly the whole episode was silly namefag troopers. That's hard to believe considering the rest of TFA, but they clearly didn't want to do 3 movies of Rey learning how to do some weak ass TK like Luke did.
