So, finally mustered the braveness to give it a watch. It wasn't terrible. Wasn't even meh. Actually, it was above that. It waspretty good, if you excuse the occasional BUDGET showing.
And seeing what day it is, might as well mention that this fucker is not only the best character in the film, but one of the best cats OF ALL TIME.
Gonna post some screenshots.
The opening was 2D btw.
Presented without context.
I watched it in theaters back in February. I honestly liked it more than Lego Batman.

Lego Batman could be the greatest movie ever, and yet I refuse to watch it on the grounds that Batman is getting too much love.I'd say overrated character that needs some rest.
Bodi has the most generic eyes, yet the animators did a good job with what they were given.
The music choice deserves praise. Not a single song is used twice (accept the one the dog co-writes, but it is only played in full once). They even managed to get a Radiohead song in there (from the period they were still a good ROCK band).
Darma iz gud character.
Actual ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION censors forgot to notice.
This may be unintentional, but the cat is basically Jeff Lynne without the hair:

I dare you to not see the similarity.
The movie is also quite silly. Almost Penguins of Madagascar levels of silly. Bidi's father knows magical kung fu, and that is treated as nothing.
Oh, and Angus Scattergood has a robot butler. Just because.
How was Mune Twister?

Body was super cute.He even got some really good porn before people stopped caring about the movie..
The rest of the cast save for Darma (who barely showed up) and some of the wolves had shit designs.
The sheeps were funny btw.
Last bump.

Wish Darma did more. They didn't even ship her with Bodi. She said he was cute in the movie, but that was the extent of it.

That was a GOOD thing! If you had to take a drink every time an animated female WASN'T shipped with somebody, you would live a sober life.
I recently watched this as well and have to agree with you. I was pleasantly ssurprised at how much I enjoyed it.

Yet a lot of internet personalities ripped the movie to shreds. Brad Jones said it was worse than Norm of the North.

Why is it always a girl on bass?
>>94612660
I hate that guy. Not that I seen a lot of him, but his smugness is both fake, overdone, and irritating.
>>94612835
IRL the girl is usually on keys, so....... I don't know.
Question: let's say I want to make a few webms. I have the movie ripped from the DVD. What software is there for a filthy macfag that allows quick and easy creation of shorter clips from longer movie files? I fucking hate iMovie.

Four minutes of screentime. Mae Whitman actually gave interviews about the movie. A role that probably took her 20 minutes to do.
>>94617360
Her role in the movie was just that: short, but sweet.
>>94617203
Should of been her movie...at least to get them woman lead points since kissing up to China was never gonna work with the biggest movie chain having it out for Rock Doge
>>94618997
She is not interchangeable with Bodi, you cannot put her in his place and have it be the same movie.
I don't even think it aired in my country. A real shame. I would have liked to see it in theaters.
Now, Mister Twister, how about Ballerina (aka. Leap!)?
Or how about the other foreign animated films that were shown in US theaters this year like The Red Turtle andYour Name.?
Bodi is a cute and great husbando!
>>94619234
I did not see Leap. Don't want to. Plus, getting to Manhattan isn't exactly free.
I'm still sadden by the fact of what happened over in China for this movie. This movie didn't deserve it, no movie does.

If it was fair, then it wouldn't be sad, would it?
i liked the tomboy jokes about her
He's too cute to lewdhis dad on the other hand...
