Ehhh, not really. I mean at least the DC trinity has a reason for existing (they were the three surviving superheroes from the whole Wertham fiasco), the so called Marvel trinity is just the a bunch of random Avengers that were deemed more important than the rest for some arbitrary reason. The real Marvel trinity is probably Spider-Man, Wolverine and Hulk.
