Batman is fueled by tragedy. No one is making anything out of Batman being a dad. Damian did much more bonding with Dick than he's ever done with his father. I blame the writing but there it is. Damian isn't going anywhere personally and he contributes nothing as part of the Bat-family.

Super-sons could be titled Superboy and I'd still read it.
