I get that feeling more with Keith and Shiro. I think Allura is fine, she gets less overall attention than the other two. Shiro needs to pass the torch to Keith before exiting the show. Once he does that, Keith will be emotionally okay since he knows that Shiro will be safe and will be able to lead Voltron as he wants to without feeling like ass. Same as Pidge, wants Matt shows her that he can very well defend himself she won't worry about him. Her arc is tricky though because she wants Matt safe, I don't think she'll care that he can defend himself when a lot of things can happen in outer space.

Shiro might go with Matt to save any other prisoners held captive by the galra, or he might return back to earth with Matt. Both will be safe, and both will semi complete Keith and Pidge's arc.

If you're referring to Season 1, then it's been made pretty clear in Season 2 that Black has accepted Shiro as her Paladin.

Meanwhile, you have Allura who can power wormholes and do Altean magic and shit. Her powers are more wide ranged than Shiro's ever will be. Having a superpowered arm will only get you to fight enemies in close range. Allura's Altean magic can actually beam enemies from much farther than that. Besides, the Blue Lion is the nurturing lion who's meant to grow the pilot's confidence in their role, right? That doesn't always mean it's grooming people to become pilots.

I just think the swapping backtracks a lot of progress the Paladins have made with their original lions. It's a homage to the OG and everything, yeah, but I just don't know if this will be for the better.

Here's a turn of events. Could it be that Project Kuron is something that Lotor created under Haggar's nose?
