I remember my older sister tried to make me watch it on Newgrounds back in 2005 (or whenever it first came out). One look at the character and I immediately pussied out. I didn't actually end up seeing it until I was a teen, and it still creeped me out pretty bad. The fact that he's both unnerving and pitiful, and the fact that the world he lives in is so bleak and miserable, was very unsettling.

All in all, I wouldn't say it's the best thing David Firth has done, but it's definitely up there, and it's certainly iconic.

I just don't get it. I don't find it scary and I don't find it funny. Maybe if I had watched it as a young teen I'd get something out of it.
