This works better when it's something that they're not copying and is mostly about the audio, like all of them working to make a music video for a song.

When watching an episode like this you're forced to compare the animation to the show, and the show's art is good enough but not the most amazing, so you're jumping between styles that are either better than it or worse, and it's too jarring. You can't appreciate the simpler styles because they don't feel good enough, and you can't appreciate the better ones because they just conflict with the simpler and the original styles.

That ridiculous jontron animator mashup? That was ok. Episodes from shows redone? Nah. Unless it's a show with such poor animation or such a simple art style that all the animators replacing it are an improvement.

What kind of question is this and what kind of answer were you expecting? These fans who are "so much more skilled and talented than the critics" had no deadline and had no rules to adhere to, meanwhile if these guys were at an animation studio the people back at CN probably would have called for like a billion retakes because there's a ton of issues.

You know that more often than not most American shows animated overseas have one or two animators for 11 or 22 minutes right? Keep in mind most overseas animators are glorified inbetweeners and a large portion of work is already done before it gets to Korea but still, they have to be on model and follow the timing/x-sheets charts like perfectly or they get in trouble.

Also, why is it up to the critics to make something that justifies their opinion as being valid for you? It's a nice video and all but whatever point you were trying to make is like null and void as of now.
