I like how people just casually toss out how they should have thrown money to continue Deadman or Bleach.

In Deadman's case, it was one of the first new pick ups and aired when they had like no money. How are you supposed to make more of a show when you can barely afford to put stuff on in the first place?

In Bleach's case, that would have been incredibly expensive and probably wouldn't have yielded a whole lot of fruit when interest in the anime generally declined after Aizen and Pierrot moved onto new projects. Probably would have done neato over here, but for the enormous cost stemming from the sheer amount of episodes i dunno.

I remember when Toonami came back, those first two years AS had it's highest ratings ever two years in a row. SonoftheBronx used to post weekly rankings of every single AS show aired that week with full ratings info. 3 million figure Family Guys. Going the entire 9 PM to 6 AM broadcast night without dipping below 1 million viewers, often times 100+ telecasts a week would hit the million mark. Regularly hitting above 2.0 in the 18-49 demo and never going below 0.5.

These numbers just seem pathetic.

None of this is remotely true, he announced Bleach was in its final arc before the anime ended (a year and a half) and had 4 years of time to dish out a satisfying conclusion and still fucked it all up he said himself that he was allowed to end it the way he did which says a lot about him than anything else.

I've been binging Garo: The Animation's dub lately and it's surprisingly really fucking good. Like, one of the best anime dub I've heard in modern times, and I'd argue even better than the original Japanese dub, mostly because it better fits the setting of the story (medieval Europe).

It's a shame the relations between Funimation and Toonami are iffy because that show would be a perfect fit for the block, and the series's short enough (24 episodes) as to not clutter the block for too long, too.

Here's something that I noticed. Even though we've known that Outlaw Star is coming for a week now, the backdoor schedule still has not updated to show the Toonami schedule. Also, Samurai Jack is missing from it this time around which has never happened before, even when it was part of Toonami.
