I think you get kind of a failed compromise.

Porn is designed with one purpose in mind - to arouse the consumer sexually.

Serious storytelling is designed to get the reader interested in some other way, like getting them interested in a mystery or a sense of wonder or wondering how the plot twists will all resolve.

So either you'll end up with something well written that makes you skip the sex scenes because you want to keep up with the story or you'll fast forward past all the talking to jerk it to the sexy bits.
