If so many people hated this show, why did it get 52 half hours?

Those same 52 half hours were stretched across 2 seasons (btw, the 2nd season took 3 years to air)

Also, internet hatred is not equal to how popular it actually is, Teen Titans Go is hated on most websites, but it generally does good with ratings and is popular with kids.

It's production was stretched to hell. I remember seeing news of a new episode every 4 to 6 months and then nothing. They also kept re-airing the episode where the comic shop owner needed to make a specific amount of money.

I watched it in hopes of it improving. Plus it was 2009 CN was being consumed by live action shows (among many other bad decisions), Nick was the only other channel I could turn to for entertainment.
