He's getting there. Damian is suppose to come off as abrasive. Given his background he was raised to be Batman's successor but under Ra's & his mother's control.

He has picked up on Batman's mannerisms more than any other Robin ever had. Just he's not quite up to snuff to Bats, despite his constant trying.

The Teen Titans are softening him bit by bit. However BB is probably going to be the next Teen Titan to leave. He, Starfire, & Raven really need to be on the Titans team. Or at least Kori staying behind to mentor Damien how to be an effective leader. Or shit, they could get Dick to do that & have Kori lead the Titans.

Dick & Damian got along swimmingly during DickBats run.

I think one of the weirdest comics that got Damian right was Injustice 2, which flashed back to his Robin days and showed him on a time trial through the city
if you didn't read it, it went like this
>bruce drops damian off at the furthest point from the cave
>says he's going to be alone tonight
>bruce says his record is 3 and a half hours and that if Damian is in any real danger that he's watching him
>Robin goes "oh yeah im going to fucking demolish that record old man"
>instantly hears cries for help
>saves a woman from a mugging
>she then asks for him to wait for the police and tips Robin cash

>she forces him to take it
>Robin heads back to the race 30 minutes later
