It is amazing how easy to tell when someone is a child. It's when that someone wanted to prove how mature they are. This of course, is ironically in the Bible, in that the Bible tell people to act like adults and put away childish things.
Compare that to Lewis Carroll, who instead claim that only real adults can read children's books without shame. Because REAL adults have no need to pretend to be old.

Historically, it's when they're taken too seriously that Marvel/DC comics start getting bad, mainly because there's a lot that's inherently silly about them that, at best, looks really odd in a serious context, and at worst doesn't hold up at all under that kind of scrutiny.

I think it's best to keep things light. Don't care for Squirrel Girl, personally, but the idea of her character is okay by me. She's not any more ridiculous than anyone else in the Marvel Universe.

No this is the ugly one. This is the one they are purposely making more and more ugly just as a middle finger to Marvel fans. The sales for this thing are unbelievably low. Marvel doubling down on all these terrible ideas really shows you how much of an echo chamber their company has become. They hire these assistant editors from tumblr only to make themselves look progressive and because the people who hire are fat 40 year old neck beards. DC could literally do a comic about Batman playing basket ball with superman in the NBA and it would still out sell anything marvel is putting out.
