We already discussed this a while back. The whole thing is a random mess and is really bad as a pilot because nothing is explained or made sense.

The one time I made things public, when I posted the pilot for Urban Tails, an Irish animated music video series, they filed a manual copyright strike on my ass. So I keep things unlisted. I only post the stuff on 4chan so there's no need to make it public. A lot of the threads I make get ignored. I posted The Memories of Nanette before it even premiered, but /co/ never cared about it one bit.

The robot is genderfluid and the twins have parents of different races, one being ambiguous brown. It's trying to be very progressive but at least it's not in your face. Come to think of it, the sheer lack of explanation for these characters is a problem.

Joe Murray made a few episodes and then gave up or ran out of funding.
Butch Hartman made a few episodes and then gave up or ran out of funding.

When you're not a giant corporation with millions of dollars to burn, you can't really create the hours of content that an animated TV network demands.

If huge corporations like Hasbro fail at it (The Hub) then the chances of a single individual with not a lot of cash to succeed are beyond tiny.

Stil, maybe that was supposed to be developed further in the series. what really is the problem is that the conflict really doesn't hold up in this episode. the reason why they need another member of the band (just because) it's just stupid and the mistreatment of the cactus just comes out of nowhere.

I actually looked this up again yesterday by pure coincidence because I was curious what happened to it. There is literally zero news about any upcoming release dates, but it absolutely seems to be coming out at some point. Personally, I think this is actually a pretty neat looking show, and I'm rather curious how it turns out. Plus, from what sources say, it has an eco-friendly message to it(but not the "in your face" kind of message like Captain Planet,, think normal show with undertones of it), which I actually rather like, since cartoons don't really seem to be concentrating on this moral anymore nowadays.
