She actually is more of a right hand man to Keith than Lance is. It's incredibly force for the sake of putting them in the classic lions and no other reason. Lance can still support Keith while being a leg, something that supports the entire body, and we can explore his character and flaw more while also exploring what part of him makes him worthy to pilot in the first place.
