I don't mind gay and tranny characters on the show i just hate the trend of creator's playing schrodinger's faggot with their characters. "Hey this maybe this girl was born with a secret penis maybe she wasn't. Does she like to munch carpet or inhale wieners? Who knows i'll decide on whim!" If you want lgbt rep on show introduce it early get it out of the way and thwn let the character grow so they aren't defined by their sexuality. Doing a shocking reveal like with Luna does them a disservice because that reveal becomes their sole defining trait. She is now Luna the gay/bi girl first Luna the rocker chick second.

I think the best example I've seen of a gay character done right is Captain Holt from Brooklyn 99. He was revealed gay in the first episode but it never defined him. They let him grow as character first before revisiting that aspect of his life.

No, but it's now her most important snd prominent trait. It's like what happened with Marceline on Adventure time. Before they introduced her relationship with PB she had an intresting backstory, family issues and connections unique to her. But that slowly started to fade to background as PB was slowly forced into her life. Eventually Marcy couldn't have her own episodes unless it involved PB, her family angst was replaced with girlfriend angst and now people only want to see Marceline if the episode is about her and PB.

And now the same is happening with Luna. No one is excited for the upcoming Luna episode because they like Luna, they're excited because they want to see Luna with Sam. The tumblrina crowd doesn't give two shits about Luna's love of music or her as a person, they just want to see her lez out eiht sam. And this is who the loud housr writers are trying to pander to.

Leni is strict but obviously has a limit to it. Here domineering tendancies are merely a symptom of how much she cares for the people in her lives. Being the eldest child, she is often seen and expected to be a tertiary parent of sorts. Combine that with having to handle 10 other bombastic personalities, it's basically required to police her siblings with equal force. It keeps not only herself, but everyone out of trouble with their parents.
However, she isn't some sort of ice-queen, she genuinely enjoys her time with everyone. Her sisters and brother come to her for good reason. They know that she's reliable enough to come to for just about any issue.

Luna had a long streak where she would have no lines or do anything of note even in Full Family episodes. The Hotel is a perfect example. While every other character was up to shenanigans, Luna was just sat in the hotel room. The only thing she did in that episode was die. It's made worse because the writers seem to struggle with coming up with the song puns and references which was her entire gimmick.

That's why the Lamp thing started (Combined with her hiding behind the Lamp at one point to create a link between the two). Because the Lamp in the background was adding as much to scenes as Luna was.
