Hulkerine

Deodato is getting a lot of mileage out of this poser model.
>>94404495
They also already did this a couple of years ago.

>yfw this shit will get an ongoing

As absolutely retarded as this is, we need more laughably batshit sci-fi plots in X-Men. Leave the grounded realism for the soap opera moments, the conflicts should be these out of hand nutty romps.
>>94404612
What laughably pathetic about this is that in Weapon X' s goal in eradicating mutantkind, they've far worse shit to their fellow humans they claim to be protecting. Creating a Hulk and giving him Wolverine claws? Recipe for clusterfuck. Hulks are already proven to difficult to control.
>>94404705
And to add to that, a Hulk with a Wolverine level healing factor. How do they expect to get rid of that when they're done with it?
>>94406209
why would you get rid of it?
just make it easy to control by making it solely motivated by a hatred of gene trash and being incredibly stupid.
Then just build in a mind control fail safe that, in no way what so ever can be overpowered by rage or any healing or hulk related powers. What could go wrong with that? it's that simple there is no way this could backfire in any way.

Hulk's healing factor is already stronger than wolvie's

They don't show that as much anymore, it was prevalent a decade ago but since then his invulnerability has been ramped up to the point he's just not shown as taking damage in the first place.

Fuck me these two pages are dope.
What issue/series is this from?

It used to be that the Hulk takes damage but heals through it. While The Thing is weaker than Hulk but his stone skin is far tougher and harder to pierce than Hulk's skin.

PAD's run on the Incredible Hulk

It's from an amazing Peter David run in the 90's where Hulk and Banner switched minds. So in his Hulk form he was as smart as Banner, in Banner mode he became a raging, 150lbs soaking wet, retard. The catch was same as before, when Banner gets angry Hulk comes out only now that means Hulk goes from super capable, smart, nigh indestructible heavyweight to a puny human who still thought he was an indestructible monster.
So the whole catch of the arc was Banner couldn't get angry any more. It was filled with villains doing some really dick things to try and make him upset. Peter David was trying to put together an actual Rogue's Gallery for the Hulk instead of every story being about him fighting the army. So he came up with some interesting ideas like The U Foes, Madman and Piecemeal. He wrote some good stuff for The Leader too. And he surrounded Hulk with a kind of advanced-tech superhero team based on Greek legends like Ajax, Achilles.
The art on this run was fucking awesome. It started with Erik Larsen, who later went on to create the Savage Dragon. Then he got Dale Keowen, right before he left with the other Image guys to create Pitt who was kind of like Hulk crossed with Predator. After Keowen they had a few guys for single issues before Liam Sharpe took over for an extended period, which was also fantastic.
The Peter David good shit goes from issue 360-something to about 435. Then all the Heroes reborn stuff started I believe so the comic turned to shit as they killed all the cool stuff they had spent years building in favor of trying to reboot the comic with Jim Lee on art.
