I'd say something like they'd be able to view the world around them. A 2.5D figure in a 3D enviroment gives off the feeling that they're two-dimensional, but prove that they feel lifelike to their 3D counterparts(human toon is human, anthro cat feels like a normal feline, etc.)

Trying to have a sexual relationship wouldn't result in you having to get yourself cut up, but I think it'd feel more pillowy or sharper depending on their artstyle. Jagged, sharp lines may be painful, while soft, curved lines will feel very soft and gentle.

I don't buy that, honestly. Toons exist to entertain, and so I wouldn't doubt that there is a small subset of the toon population who are genuinely interested in hurting people because they believe doing so is entertaining (which in a twisted way is somewhat true).
