After watching Rebels, i think that Clone Wars greatly benefited from the presence of clone troopers. Not only did they have some of the best episodes, the fact that they were red shirts made the battles feel more real.

My only downside with this show was Grievous. I know that the creators wanted to stay as close to the prequels as possible, but why couldn't they give him the Anakin treatment? He's literally only good on Genndywars.

In my opinion, it kinda mirrors Clone wars in that the first season was kinda ehh with a few good episodes, but following seasons having more good/great episodes and then become mostly good at season 3. I think this is due to them figuring out what works and them getting more models over time to work with.

You can animate much more rapid motion in 2D compared to 3D while maintaining believability. That made the fight scenes way more intense.
That, and the character himself was a lot more interesting as an unstoppable killing machine than a lousy jobber.

Fun Fact: In Germany, this show airs 3 times a day on a channel which is not state owned. Most notable thing is that they actually don't show a single ad while airing this show despite being shown on a not-state channel. They basically make a loss whenever it is aired due to no ads but they still show it anyway.
