That issue ended with Addison pointing a gun at Jessica, saying she was going to make sure there were no witnesses. The SHKT is a splinter from the bullet Addison fired hitting the hair in PA one of that page, sparing her friend.

so the way I read it there are two possibilities.

jess might have been the queen all along, which would dovetail nicely with being trans since he was LITERALLY a woman trapped in a mans body. also fits the unpredictable nature of the red wing.

or over the course of these two pages Addison divested herself of being queen and shoved it into Jess by warping it to be so.

but since this is reality warping the two cases aren't mutually exclusive at all.

in fact if BOTH were true it would explain why the former queen was decieved. Addison acted at the last possible moment to unknowingly free the queen from her predecessor. in this we might be able to see the manipulation of the golden crown. Trent did admit that she didnt have perfect control after all.

So I just realized something, but the reason Addison shaved Jessica's hair was so she could hide her as a John Doe to keep her protected and hidden.

Overall I think this comic ended kind of a mess and more abruptly than it might have been set out for, but there were some really strong issues in there and a lot of good points. Very hype for whatever Mia Goodwin tries next.
