Pretty cool plot, but I'm not a fan of the art style.

Great show, quality may be inconsistent but when it delivers it surpasses everything before it. Watch it in French or German, French is the original version and gets gradually better while German nails the characters from the beginning.

Discount-Avatar except the characters aren't as interesting nor are the powers. Plus the dialogue is horrid. Truly, truly horrid.

Wakfu has plenty of problems but that doesn't make it bad
most everyone here enjoys ATLA and will agree that it's great but not without flaw.
I won't speak for GF, I haven't finished it but most complaints seem to revolve around Mable

I like it.

It's my professional opinion that Yugo is a qt shota.

Are you sure because some people really started turning against the show during season 2. Viciously so.

The show has its highs and lows. First half of season 1 is a bit rough but second half is good and there's no finale like it really. First half of season 2 started out strong but the season loses steam by the midpoint. I get the feeling that they sort of stopped caring about the main characters and kind of stopped developing them. Season 2's finale isn't as good as season 1's but it's fun enough. And then there's ovas...

For all the hype for season 3, there's as much skepticism about it as well.

Also Nox is way dumb for never once trying to go back in time a few seconds or minutes to see exactly the amount of wakfu it required but his scientific mind never once considered to test anything on a small scale even if he was bonkers. It was a nice touch having him use exactly as much wakfu to go back to right before stealing the wakfu to go backwards implying that if he had never once used wakfu for anything other than going backwards he might of had enough over the years.

as seems the norm with Ankama, they have an amazing IP they have no real idea on how to use.
Nox was a great villain but I suspect it was a one time miracle.

Either way I try not to be overly critical of the things that happen or I'd never be satisfied with the show.

Like Yugo firing off a god damn laser at his bro who was completely in the right for opposing him and who literally never travels around with Yugo for no legitimate reason other than the two of them would arguably be more powerful than basically everything the rest of the characters are usually dealing with. Seemed a bit out of character for him to just straightforwardly attack someone on the short list of people he cares about so he can throw down in a demi god fight.

The Cube is mostly a battery, not a source. He didn't get Grougal's Wakfu. Yugo used a part of the energy in the Cube during their fight.

Probably. The Mad Xelor's tower kept rewinding time locally, so Nox only had to send himself back similarly instead of taking everything in existence with him.

The character was designed by a certain artist before he joined Ankama. The rights to said character remained with him when he threw a bitch fit and left the company, so they had to remove it from the franchise. In other words, the content made around it is no less valid when it comes to canonicity, they just aren't allowed to exploit it anymore.
