Was hoping for a bit more old Spyral craziness, but this was really tame. I guess Seeley doesn't want to scare away the generic Nightwing readers with stuff like whales with robot legs or Dick singing theme tunes while fighting bad guys.

The crazy thing about all this for me, is that Tiger is supposed to be Patron and Director of Spyral now, not Agent 1. Unless this is because Minos is back, which we know will happen soon. Keshi was on the Spy Syndicate, and it's unknown but she was probably a freelancer, but Seeley's been using her along with Tiger almost any time we see Spyral in this run, so I guess she's either been retconned into a Spyral agent or was always one in secret, either or is cool. The other dudes being new is also great.

The Second Hand showing up now is definitely not something I expected. I totally believed it would be the next Bludhaven arc after the Raptor one, but maybe not? I guess we still have the Whale Enders Gang and potentially the False Face Society, plus we could see stuff like a Rebirthed Lady Vic, and Dick still hasn't taken Blockbuster down yet. It's really a shame that this spyral arc is only 3 issues long, I'd rather see Seeley build a longer story out of this, one that could run for 20 issues like Grayson did. Although, I guess that could still happen, just with Bludhaven cutting in.

Each arc has actually been heavily referencing a different era for Dick Grayson as a character (he's been around for over 75 years after all), so you might not get how genuinely great some of these books are, but Dick has always been one of the best gateway characters for new readers.

Generally, all you need to know is this:
