This trailer is actually for Legacy, which is a remake that is still under production. Along with this is merely a reveal of the release date for Retro, which probably should've been pushed back a week or so.

Note how it still has the original intro. This could very well mean we still have basic features like combat and interaction with other players. I'm guessing that there will only be no monsters past Tech Square. After the tutorial, you could only interact with other players.

I understand the disappointment. Really, I do because I'm honestly disappointed myself. But you shouldn't be holding grudges against the developers for this. Apparently, there was only one actual coder working on the servers for Retro and he apparently couldn't sleep for almost two days over it.
Not to mention, it's F2P and it's being revived by hobbyists. It's a glorified fan-game. So, aside from time, you really have nothing to lose when waiting for it.

This reminds me of what happened to a game called Colossal Kaiju Combat

It was a game on kickstarter that was going to be like those classic Godzilla fighting games Save the Earth and Destroy All Monsters. It was going to have a cast of (mostly) original kaiju including a few from the Godzilla NES creepypasta. They would be created by fans and would go through a voting process.

The voting process was terrible because the community was filled was complete retards and would vote for the most retarded shit imaginable, at one point furries took over everything and voted in other people's kaiju who were literally just the creator's fursonas and they left later leaving everyone with their shit tier monsters which the developers legally have to put in

The first game: Kaijuland Battles came out and it was fine, but the big one everyone was waiting for was Fall of Nemesis

The warning signs came quickly, the kickstater explicitly stated that monsters such as Godzilla, Gamera and Stay Puft marshmallow man would be in the game, but the creator came out later, after they got the kickstarter money, and said that it wasn't going to happen and it was never a promise in the first place, even though it obviously was.

And here is where it reminds me of this project

Everyone waited, and waited, the game was supposed to come out a long ass time ago and it was cancelled when it was in early development

And through thick and thin, their forums never failed to suck their cocks, even at this point, the forums are still there and the cocksucking continues

At least the developers are not revising history (yet) or have retarded systems where fans decide what happens

But the broken promises are there and the community seems to be a big hugbox for the development team and I can easily see a similar scenario occurring here.

To be honest, I could never really get far in FusionFall. Whether it'd be due to the initial paywall or me not having a powerful enough PC at the time.

I guess my favorite nano by default would either be Buttercup or Numbuh Two. Possibly Numbuh Two since he had a bonus perk for getting more Taros and at the time, I thought it'd be important to gather as much Taros as possible.

As for my favorite fusion, I'd probably go with Fusion Numbuh One, because even though I never got far enough to face him, I really liked his design for some reason.

I never got very far either, anon. I remember that I got to level 17, and just quit for some reason or another. Then I remember getting really disappointed that it shutdown, and that I lost my chance to get all the nanos and defeat Fuse.

In the case of FusionFall, it's probably not that likely. Toontown and Virtual Magic Kingdom were both revived in legacy servers that are still being played to this day. Considering that both games were made by Disney, it's a miracle that neither of them got slapped with a C&D.

I think Dexter and the Powerpuff Girls were aged up for a specific reason.

In the show, Dexter's Laboratory is a secret location, his parents are completely unaware of his genius and technology. I think he was aged up so that he can be the owner of a multibillion dollar corporation, "DexLabs", that's known world wide with technology that has revolutionized the world. So now, in this alien invasion crossover, Dexter, as the first Cartoon Cartoon, can be the main character and lead the battle against Fuse and everything. The existence of DexLabs gives Dexter the ability to be the main character and participate in this crossover scenario so actively.

With the Powerpuff girls, in the show, they were just too young. They were kindergartners. They were aged up to fit in better with the world, and the age range of the other kids being in elementary, middle, or high school. And due to the nature of their characters and show and stuff, there's no drastic change in status quo by aging them up aside from their daily civilian level lives being updated.

With the Kids Next Door, Billy and Mandy, Foster's Home, and Ed Edd 'n Eddy, there's no reason nor benefit to aging them up. They are already in a good age range, 8-12, and they are generally supposed to be kids. In FusionFall, they can just have the canon of their show transplanted into FusionFall with no alterations in timeline placement. Plus, these specific shows take place in the same canon.

In one episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, an episode centered around Eduardo, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy briefly showed up. In another episode, Mandy briefly appeared, returning a friend that was "too happy".

In Billy and Mandy's Big Boogie Adventure, or whatever it was called, Grim was fired and lost his status and power as Reaper. Numbuh Three became the grim reaper in his place. She was happy to, alongside her charity work and love for Rainbow Monkeys, reap the souls of adults for her dark harvest, or whatever.

Then there's the Grim Adventures of the KND, where Billy, in need of help, calls Ed Edd n Eddy's Pesky Problem Fixers. But since he's broke, Eddy directs him to the KND.

The plot of the movie was that Grim was fired and lost his status and powers as the Grim Reaper. So, during the adventure to get his Reaper power back, the Underworld Judges or whatever had to hire a new Grim Reaper. And they chose Numbuh Three.

She appeared once to introduce herself as the new reaper, a second time when her power was transferred back to Grim, and again in the credits when they did that "where are they now" thing. Apparently, she's trying to run a reaper business, and she promises that she will get Grim back for this if it's the last thing she does.

With this in mind, and the fact that in her own show, Numbuh Three has displayed fire powers and demon-like qualities, I believe that Kuki Sanban, her sister Mushi, and her mother Genki are actually Japanese Oni.

Characters in those shows don't usually forget everything after each episode. I need to rewatch Billy and Mandy and Foster's Home, but in Codename: Kids Next Door and Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, there's a clear progression in story and character development even though each episode is standalone. The characters remember past episodes, and grow from them, and stuff. Like, Eddy and Numbuh One, are different at the end of their shows from how they were at the start, even ignoring the series finales which had the biggest change for them.

From what I can recall, the PPG never made a proper cameo in Foster's, but my memory is.... Mojo Jojo appeared as an imaginary clone, but his appearance in FusionFall is no different from canon, so... and the PPG are on Frankie's shirt, but only as a vague design.

I don't really recall Dex or the girls appearing anywhere in these shows aside from freeze-frame bonuses...
