I'm more interested in how they made a brown monarchy. Considering it's an AU, did the caciques maintain their power and fortune after the Borbonic reforms so they could lead the independence and create their own royal families? In this world magic is real so that mean at some point they used shamanic magic against western magic. That sounds too cool for Disney channel so probably it'd never be explained.

It's nice that they made a Princess story that actually focuses on leadership and governing, but it also made me realise I want a Disney Princess story aimed above the Juniour audience that goes straight up into court drama and politics.
