Objectively only casuals hate based Romita Jr., right?
I like Romita's work but it's very easy to see why someone wouldn't like him.
>JRjrfags pretend his skill as an artist hasn't atrophied at all and call you a casual/reddit/tumblr/whatever outgroup is now popular if you dare call his modern work for what it is, lazy shit with the artist himself coasting into big gigs via reputation

I dont like him much, but my favorite comic drawn by him is when Wolverine took Colossus to a bar to make the Juggernaut beat him for hurting Kitty Pryde's feelings. It was a great brawl.

Anyone who doesn't draw in Jim Lee's style is hated by plebs and reddit. People still hate Frank Miller's art, even on his DKR and Robin. I've even seen people hate Templesmith's art.
I liked him on Wolverine: EotS, Kick-Ass and Avengers Heroic Age back in the day. Haven't seen any of his more recent stuff. Sometimes artists DO decline or fall into a rut after a period of greatness so idk.

Like you can see even in that picture I posted his sense of perspective is uhn.... not great but he had a great sense of clarity in his blocky figures layered over byzantine levels of detail like Frank Miller wedded to early Jack Kirby.

Maybe it has but Klaus Janson is just as much to blame. I'd like to see modern Jr inked by someone with a lighter touch.

I like his story telling, respect his speed and respect the time he has been in the business. He knows how to draw. I just do not like his style, too blocky for me and at times it seems a bit bland.

Look. I found the pretentious failed artist guys!
>>94301230
I like him, I can understand why people can hate him.
His best stuff is 80's Daredevil and Man Without Fear.

Agreed, Janson has become garbage too, though JRjr's pencils don't look that good
