As soneone with hair virtually identical to Gert's there, trust me. Unless you really go out of your way to keep it in place, it's gonna frizz like that. It also really isn't in character for Gert to do anything more than brush it. I have no idea what's going on with Nico's, but I can't see anything wrong with Karolina's and Molly's.
