I am a Spidey fan. I have been away from comics for 10 years. Recently picked up the new Spectacular, because it seemed like a good place to jump back in. But it seems the real action is going on in Amazing.
Can someone fill me in on Amazing and when would be the best jump-on point? It looks like Pete has made it big and is about to crash and burn before Legacy. If you have any more info than that, then you know more than me.

He made a lot of money doing Spider-Man themed gay porn and getting his twink ass pounded. Now he's rich and has his own company.
he made mad bux when he patented his webbing formula
The trouble with Slott's run is there's really no one good jumping on point. There's Big Time, Superior, the movie relaunch, and post Secret Wars. You're better off just reading other Spider-books from the past 5 years like Venom, Scarlet Spider or Carnage.

So I should just wait until the end of the year for the renumbering then?

Wait till after issue 800 when Slott leaves.

Is he really leaving after 800? Please be true.
For now just focus on any spider-title not written by Slott, Spider-Man and Deadpool is good and RYV is my favorite comic that I'm currently pulling

Rumor is Spencer is taking over for him, after his Superior Foes I really hope that's true. I'm tired of Slott
Anon, I honestly really liked Brand New Day and I recommend you try reading it
I know its why you left but give it a try
It's better then Slott's current run at least

I didn't care much for BND, but Gauntlet and Grim Hunt were some pretty damn good reads that happened post OMD.
Who /stillbutthurtaboutOMD/ here?
