This show is slowly getting closer to my theory I made when Sweet Pea was first created. He's going to become really good at fighting evil. Too good even. It'll reach a point where the evil he has to fight off on Oo is just too easy for him. He will eventually realize how he was created by guardian blood, and find his destiny in capturing all the ancient evil monsters across all realities.

I suppose I can get that, because from what I remember he stopped trying to be his own person pretty quick. So you're right, she was never as major a character as HW, but I deny that she was never as big with the fans. The two of them had equal amounts of fanart (impossible to prove now since obviously since her episode HW's has exploded), and often the two of them together.

Let's put it this way, Jungle P was definitely ahead of Lizard P in terms of fan desire for apeparance, and Lizzy actually appeared... very briefly, no dialogue, just smooched Finn, but still.

Yeah, I think so. Season 6 is polarising - some love it, some hate it. It's pretty abstract and experimental, even for adventure time, and that's not everyone's cup of tea. I thought it was great, but your mileage may vary. Seasons 7 and 8 have both been generally well received though. Season 8 is the most plot-oriented AT has ever been, and season 9 will likely continue that trend even more so.

I thought Broke His Crown was pretty great. Maybe it's because I watched it as an episode and not as a possible validation of my headcanon about PB and Marcy being/not being lovers, why is it so important to you people? I loved the character dynamic tho, as Bonnie for once was the less tolerant one and had to learn something, it worked as a part of S6 and 7's theme of making her more likeable without it looking rushed. The crown labyrinth thing didn't bother me either, if anything, it was a creative way of going into a person's mind rather than some standard abstract hallway with memory doors.

The character interactions were all great, especially with PB, but as a whole, I found it lacking. AI Betty and Simon getting together in the crown was just tacked on at the end, and it also has no impact on the rest of the story, so I have no reason to care about it.

It's a better episode when you think of the plot as just a vehicle to have some fun/nice character moments. Although they did need to have something with Ice King and the Crown after King's Ransom.
